Airtel discontinues data rollover facility, their only ace in the game over competition

Recent reports suggest that Indian telecom player Airtel has discontinued data rollover facility on their broadband plan. They might be doing the same for mobile data plans too in near future considering their poor financial health owing to outstanding dues and fines imposed by the govt. recently.

Its noteworthy that Airtel's data rollover facility was unique and popular in the industry which nobody else offered. Though Jio was the first to bring cheap data to India for as low as ₹149 for 1.5GB/day monthly plan, even they haven't offered any data rollover facility until now.

With data rollover facility stopped, many customers might prefer to go with Jio as they have generally cheaper 4G plans.
