Susan Svrluga is one brave and independent journalist whom Stallman fans should follow on twitter

Yeah Yeah, we all know that twitter is a non-free platform which RMS himself refuses to use but that doesn't mean his fans should do the same too, especially when the recently appointed President of FSF himself is on twitter - the guy who is supposed to be the RMS replacement!

Now coming to the topic, when it comes to the far-left "cancel culture" ecosystem, its way too easy to be misled by the herd instinct or the "eco-chamber" phenomenon. About 99% of reporters and journalists of popular media outlets hardly pause to think about who's lives they are devastating with their neo-marxist PC witch hunts. As long as they earn their daily writing commissions, it doesn't matter what the matter really is about as long as they manage to catch hold of a victim.

The same happened in September, 2019 when renowned computer scientist Richard Stallman (fondly known as RMS by his fans) commented something on the Epstein case and the PC crowd decided to go all pitchforks against him.

Reflecting back on that time, you find that Susan Svrluga is one rare journalist who did not get carried away by the herd instinct. She reported the news exactly as it was in this washington post article. She did not try to demean RMS and pronounce a media trial judgment against him like everyone else did. It looks like she actually read the contents of email written by RMS! As members of the free culture community and supporters of the commons, we must always keep supporting unbiased reporters like Susan who know how to tell the story without creating hype and witch hunts, and most importantly, without trying to ruin someone's decades of reputation and contribution to the society.

Remember folks, its all about the narrative - how the story is told is as much important as the story itself. A story can either make or break someone's lives, we need story-tellers who focus on the good parts instead of bad, on the hope and wholesomeness in society instead of the gloom and depression. For this reason alone, I've decided to follow Susan Svrluga on twitter and probably all Stallman fans should too.
