Alexa will soon express emotions through its voice

According to this latest Verge report, technology giant Amazon has decided to add a new "human" touch or feature to Alexa, their flagship virtual assistant based on AI.

Soon, your Alexa will be able to express an "excited/happy" or "disappointed/sad" tone depending on the situation. For example, you'll be greeted with an "excited" tone when your favorite rugby team wins the match. Similarly, you'll get to hear a "sad" or empathetic tone if you answer a quiz question incorrectly.
